Trip to Hyderabad

Been to Hyd and back. To kill time I was reading this months Outlook. Stumbled on something I think should be on this blog! Well shall we say its all about "Outlook, Monbiot, McKinsey, Naidu and all that!" Will save us both time if I gave you the links... Check Monbiot's article in Guardian and Outlook on Monbiot...What is the point I am driving here... the same as I tried before.... Naidu had wrong priorities...

Now what is Congress govt in AP upto? It is a known fact that they came to power by pleasing the pesants(farmers)... earlier this week, on the front page of Eenadu was the picture of police lathi charging on a group of farmers.. and in another one farmer was lying on the floor in a pool of blood... well this certainly was not what they had bargained for...

Mulayams obsession with developing his home town... you want your town to improve? make your MLA the CM...

and.. I dont even want talk about doctors on strike in Hyderabad!

c ya!

Advantages of forgetting your mobile phone at home!

Today I forgot my mobile phone at home. I returned home in the evening to find 19 missed calls and 3 SMS. However I had no regrets. I was Happy!... u see if u forget your mobile... your boss cant call you and ask you to rush somewhere... your friends cant bug you to buy telephone recharge coupons and scratch the number and inform them.... the list is endless and most of it like the ones mentioned are custom problems applicable only to me... (one worth putting on record is the bugging SMS from a bugg.. "Rock" (Rakesh!!!)...)
...
Anyway I suggest you forget your mobile one day.. just check how much of a relief it will be!! esp if you are in India..

...btw... was reading Richard Feynmann's "What do you care what other people think?"... I will only say that wonderful is a gross understatement... you should read it... and also the talk titled "Cargo Cult Science"... just visit http://wwwcdf.pd.infn.it/~loreti/science.html ...
