Tsunami in South Asia!

I was supposed to be just another lazy Sunday. I went for a late breakfast cum early lunch when I got the news from home about the Tsunami. Soon I was in front of the TV. As the story unfolded it became clear that it was a catastrophe. A rude reminder that we cannot escape the fury of nature.

The immediate task is certanly to reach out to the effected areas, bury/burn the dead and help the survivors. We should learn a lesson. Many important issues and questions have been raised by people from different areas. Was it not a failure of our technology? Why we failed to predict the Tsunami, despite the fact that we had more than 2 hours before the waves hit us? When will we look at social issues that force so many people to live on the shores and stay ever vulnerable?

Well there is time to ponder upon these things. But we shouldnt forget these questions.... right now the most important thing is to reach out. We all have to contribute to help the survivors recover. So do your part.

Yesterday I went to www.raaga.com and what I found was Russian American Aids.... which had nothing to do with the raaga we all enjoyed over the years! I was disapointed and thought that the domain name has been sold and that the good times are over! the only real alternative is http://www.musicindiaonline.com/.

Today I searced google and found out that raaga has mooved. What used to be www.raaga.com can now be found in www.raagafm.com so I hope we will get to enjoy the music...
